Hodgson is obviously a loss but in a way I like that team just as much on paper. Roby has been good so hopefully he steps up and has a big one. Probably puts a little more pressure on the halves kicking game.

Im going for England but I think it'll be 32 - 20 to the 'Roos. The more I think about the positives for the english, the more I see that scoreline.

I would laugh so hard if England won and it would put the biggest smile on my face, I'm used to disappointment so Australia by 30 with a Slater hat trick and the commentators giving Cam Smith a verbal gobby.

Thank f**k i won't have to hear "Ninegama" again.

The best thing about this world cup is the emergence of the pacific island nations. I hope eligibility makes the talent spread even more across the nations to make a better overall tournament.

This is why it is harder to score a try from 10 metres than from 50 in the NRL. It's up to refs to penalise, and bin.
The last twice England has played Australia in Australia they have had an Aussie ref (2014 Sutton, 2017 Checcin) and haven't received a penalty in the second half of either. For some reason we have an Aussie ref yet again. Is not being 1/7 favourites and playing on home soil enough?

The only thing that will make this final a bit of a joke is if the ref is either Australian or English.

Whos the ref by the way? This is no dig.
