Roosters are the only team left who can legitimately challenge the Storm for the title. Cowboys are doing a '98 Bulldogs- big on spirit, but unless the Broncos pull off a miracle next weekend, they'll be outclassed if they make the decider.
And if you think you can drink we've got money to back...

Yeah, great effort from Parra but just outclassed by a team full of stars. Besides Taumalolo, four of the Cowboys team played Origin this year. Zero Eels played for NZ, England or either Origin team. We are just well coached, but stars win big games.
You keep thinking that...

credit to the cows for playing zero risk football, the best kryptonite vs our footy, they defend well play high % never drop the ball took advantage of our 2 prop rotation we were spent. no doubt the other 3 teams in the comp are breathing a sigh of relief.

all in all well done to our boys, they can keep their head high no one expected us to even make the 8 and to get this far without gutho bevo and tepai this game and still be favourites is a massive acheivement despite the result.

if anything losing tonight keeps the pressure on the club to improve the player roster further and improve against next season.
I never had great wraps on the Cowboys after the injuries to JT and Thumper. I reckon we've done brilliantly

We had a lot of bog-average FGers out there tonight.
So did we. The difference is your bog average first graders have a lot of finals experience, plus they play with Taumalolo and a handful of current Origin players.

More than half our side hadn't played finals before this year.

Lmao no the eels literally lost the plot tonight. I think the roosters would probably rather play a team of peabrained choke artists than a team hardened by years of finals footy

You need to go have a glass of milk and cry out the salt
Absolutely correct, the Cowboys are the team I as a Roosters fan would have rather avoided due to their finals and rep experience plus the fact they play a simple, effective game of footy with some real genuine metre eating forwards. Parra just don't have the experience and composure yet to win the tight games in finals yet.

That was really fkn disappointing - Parra just didn't play well and NQ took their opportunities. The only possible excuse was the loss of key personnel for the Eels but NQ could have said the same thing had they lost.
They are on a roll and should knock over Easts.

Cowboys just too good.

Picking Pritchard on the bench was a stupid coaching move. Will Smith was exposed yet again - forget the try he scored, everything else was poor. He was well targetted.
