2018 Crowd Watch

It's almost like he took the capacity of the ground, the crowd figure, and then subtracted them from one another

(although I don't know that "seats" is the right term given the number of corporate boxes and the standing area at the northern end behind the goals)

6.30 on a Sunday against a team from Newcastle
Photos that show vast areas of completely empty seats.
Other photos that show empty seats everywhere amongst the actual crowd.

I was there.
No way in hell that many people were there.
Maybe they count people who weren’t there.

You seem to be having a hard time understanding anecdotes aren't "facts" or "evidence", and a sample size of one is not an accurate way to make an assessment.

It is truly worrisome that you profess to be a teacher and can't understand that.

Clarification : anecdotal evidence!

And others who were there have negated your opinion. Multiple people in fact. Plus you know, the facts.

Anecdotal evidence of one person doesn't prove your assumption. FMD

Lol. Others have given experiences too and being ignored as well ! Thought this response would occur! That's so dissappointing.

When contributors are realising issues personally it seems that this is not good enough for some in this site. For instance I just had a face to face discussion with an ex footy mate of mine whom is coaching Manly Harold Mathews cup junior team. He told me that not one school plays rugby league in Narabeen and Manly pay for a bus to ferry players from elsewhere to field a team in this competition . His son is playing in this team. From this I would suggest rugby league junior development is very poor in this area . However I doubt this would be credited as valid by people within this site. That's one example. There are plenty of anecdotal fact / evidence examples that have been derided in this website that are reality . It's very dissappointing . And I am genuinely concerned at the state and direction of this more deserving code.

A quick google seach showed me that Narrabeen Sports High plays both codes of Rugby - and that is the only school in the area that I checked. Again - facts are the key, not opinion.

My predictions for this week:

Broncs v Dogs 27k
Newcastle v Souths 20k
Penrith v NQ 12k
Canberra v GC 11k
NZ v Tigers 16k
Sharks v Eels 14k
Dragons v Storm 19k
Roosters v Manly 9k (this one could get ugly)

My mate has got back to me. And yes they have a combined rugby program at Narabeen high. He informed that the Fultons informed of no other schools plaYing rugby league in the area. Will confirm. this again with the Fultons.

What does it matter how long it rained for?

In the pictures Adam provided when it was raining, there are clearly way more than the back 5 rows being utilised.

Another quick google search has informed me that the Narrabeen Lakes Public School is involved in the 'Rugby League Reads' program. I'm sure they wouldn't bother if they didn't play Rugby League as a sport at the school. So, two schools and I didn't have to search very hard. It seems that Rugby League is pretty well represented in Narrabeen schools and probably most other regions in Sydney.

Would not state that! Particularly as you can eliminate elite private schools from allowing rugby-league to be enjoyed for a start.
My mate also tells me the Fultons informed that most schools in the area are playing union and not league.
