Is it too early to use the World Cup as an excuse?

Last season we could at least blame a wet Sydney and storm romping it. Not sure this years excuses?

What does this contribute?

I'm all for opinions and discussion but what does this add? A smug feeling for you? Does it make you feel better about living in Perth?

I don't get what benefits the game gets from you shitting on it

Wtf you talking about, doesn’t need me to sht on it when we produce three crowds in a row of that size.

These were the excuses put forward on here for last years lowest crowd avg in years, after a slightly better start this year we seem to be heading back in the same direction, so what excuses this year?

go back to posting crowd numbers.

This crowd thread has been on a loop since about 1995.

PR whinging about everything.
Raverdave raving about f**k knows what.
Carch responding.
Cumberland Flog being an afl loving knob jockey.
Various posters decrying the 600pm and Thursday game every f**king week.

Everyone else having to work through the above shit just to see a crowd figure.

Three games and just over 29,000 fans in attendance. I suspect the games today should pull some reasonable crowds. If they don’t we may struggle to reach 100,000 for the round.

All of the crowds are so awful that there really isn'y anything to say about them. We knew they would be average, and there was nothing that could be done to even make them respectable. You just accept it and move on.
~~~
Newcastle have their annual 'Kids go Free' round this Sunday against Melbourne. Harder to predict a crowd when it is dependent on kids, but looking at Ticket Master might be tracking for 18,000. That said, a crowd of 20,000+ wouldn't surprise. Always draw well against the Storm.
The cowboys crowds are terrible. Sounds they just sit there talking to each other & not even watching the game. Like a giant conversation.
Roosters have been a joke for crowds for awhile. No idea why they are so favoured. They have success, a team of stars...
Oh wait yeah nvm, money boy uncle nick keeps them afloat.
$45 for a ticket to Sydney v Melbourne at the Adelaide Oval after being at $20 last season.
Do the NRL actually want people to go to games? Especially in AFL heavy territory.
I've got my ticket but i already watch rugby league, i shouldn't be the target audience when games are played here.
same. Hopefully still be a good crowd. i was there last year for it. they didn't have top tier of the stands open but the first 2 tiers were packed and it was a cracker of a game going to golden point.
But raising the price... ur right if that's true it's shit
This sort of unhelpful bullshit post shits me.
$45 ticket in what category? Are you adult or concession?
You provide no context, and expect everyone to get outraged based on just what you've said rather than fact.
GA tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for concession.
While I'd concede those prices are still overs, telling everyone here "$45 for a ticket after being $20 last season" is horse shit unless you provide some kind of actual background.
