The derby on a f**king thursday? That is a Greenberg play if ive ever heard one. f**king merkin.
Tigers draw has been leaked and our first five games go
Vs Sydney Roosters @ ANZ Stadium
Vs Melbourne Storm @ AAMI Park
Vs Brisbane Broncos @ Campbelltown Stadium
Vs Paramatta Eels @ ANZ Stadium
Vs Manly Sea Eagles @ Lottoland
Surely not? I'll believe it when it's confirmed at 10am tomorrow
A few things to note about the draw structure:
- Kickoff Thursday 8 March
- 25 rounds, one less than previous years
- All scheduled upfront (no floating final six like previous years)
- Only one scheduled bye per club (8 clubs before SOO1, 8 before SOO3), plus all clubs get SOO2 weekend off.
- SOO1: Wed 6 Jun
- SOO2: Sun 24 Jun
- SOO3: Wed 11 Jul
- Round 25 is Aug 30 to Sep 2
- Finals start Sep 7-9
- Grand Final Sun 30 Sep
As a Manly member, Season 2018 will have
10 games at Lottoland
1 game at Suncorp
1 game at AMI Stadium, Christchurch.
Christchurch has replaced the Warriors game in Perth like the last two years. Christchurch game was confirmed around 6 weeks ago.

Last time they played Brisbane at Ctown they got just under 20k on a Saturday night.
You left out playing Melbourne again in round 5 lol
Did alien and r20 design our draw?
There are steps forward in the draw bo doubt. But they have beat the drum hard before with other draw releases regarding Sunday footy in Sydney and we saw zero growth outcomes, it's almost an annual headline this past few years.
The Thursday night and Friday 6pm are still a stain on the season and will hold back any potential increases to negligible or continue the declining trend
Aren't they playing a home game in Christchurch?Manly have confirmed that they have postponed their 'home' game in Perth in 2018 until the 2019 season.
That's the way . . . intelligent posting will get you through your problemsAbsolutely ridiculous that teams rebound to play each other after such a short span ala tigers and storm.
Why not have in the first 15 rounds everyone playing each other once? Then move onto whatever model they use to sort out the rest of the draw and who plays each other again.
There is AFL on Good Friday - normally it's like the Souths-Dogs game though, played at 4pm or thereabouts - no night footy.Surely in Melbourne when there is no AFL.(I think there is still no AFL on that day still)
The simple answer is because the clubs make requests (and the NRL normally bow to most of them). They want to play certain teams at certain times or on certain dates and that immediately throws the whole thing out.Absolutely ridiculous that teams rebound to play each other after such a short span ala tigers and storm.

The NRL is clearly not listening to everyoneThe simple answer is because the clubs make requests (and the NRL normally bow to most of them). They want to play certain teams at certain times or on certain dates and that immediately throws the whole thing out.
