Do you think best and less had to just just envisage what was under the Titans billboard or is the shocking double-edged sword really what exists underneath?
The 2014ish Manly Vee jersey was as good a mystery. Was it a Vee, was it two white oblong rectangles... we will never know....

Unless someone has a BnL pic?

Haha! I was wondering that too.

Maybe it's something cool we don't even know about........

From memory, I distinctively remember them leaving the V cut-off in the 2013 thicker/wider version.

What breed of potato did you capture that with

For sure it was this model . I'm tech-savvy when it comes to potato cameras.

Heard that the Warriors had all their jerseys and equipment from their recent away trip to Canberra stolen in Auckland.
The club asked Canterbury for replacement jerseys before the Roosters match but if Canterbury cannot provide them with the jerseys they will need to get special permission from the NRL to wear the black jersey.

Can't they wear one of their many jerseys for this year?

It's nice that you never said it, but that is the reality of things as that is exactly the way things are going...

This year they're opening for the finals games, in the next few years they'll be replacing the Under 20s as an opener for the NRL. Even if it isn't a hard and fast rule most clubs will schedule their games as openers for the NRL to keep costs down...

And the mere fact that the're going to be owned and operated by the NRL clubs means that they'll never exist on their own, they'll always be 100% reliant on the NRL teams.

Only way to avoid that is to have separate entities that own and operate the Womens' teams.

And they'll pull small crowds consisting of family and friends or people who got there early for the main game. If they're stand alone just family and friends. How big do you really think women's NRL is gonna be? TV rights will be given away.

Of course it will start small (though I think you underestimate the interest in it), everything starts small, but if it's independent it has the opportunity to grow, if not it's shackled to the growth and prosperity of the NRL clubs and is given no room to grow as big as it could.

So really that leaves you with the options of start off with a marginally bigger support base with no hope of substantial growth past that point, or start off with a marginally smaller support base and the potential to grow that support base and the value of the league as a whole to as large as possible without restraint.

One of the major reasons the AFL and other codes have recently created women's competition is to get females on side with their code. It is a strategic political ploy to invigorate support for a code . These women's competitions are set up to complement the existing infrastructure of the code. They are not money making exercises. They are more of a public relations pursuit. The existing brands are what is being promoted by introducing women's competitions. If you seriously think to suggest otherwise you are clearly not in tune with the reality of Australian sport, particularly the football codes. In stating this I'm all for women participation as rugby league needs it. It will get the mums onside and assist clubs of all grades make the bank balance better and the code more culturally inclusive. After all rugby league is shunned in many establishment tournaments or put to the backwater, like the Olympics and the Commonwealth Games so it requires some help in winning over the public at large .

Hmmmm. Saints kinda have a mortgage on the Poppy V and it suits them

I'm not a fan.

Saints are no longer with ISC.
I reckon what’s happened is ISC own the design and now we’re with blades, they’ve given us the finger and given the design to the storm

It’s also quite lazy IMO but whatevs
