Is there a reason Parra have hardly worn their away jersey this year?
Tonights clash isn't too bad and I get they they have basically adopted this jersey as their away this year, but their actual yellow away jersey would of been much better tonight

I don't know an official reason why the jersey got dropped but I think it has something to do with a belief that the away jersey is cursed, or it was tarnished after the drubbing in Round 2. Coincidentally back in 2013 when we won the spoon, our jerseys were from ISC and we wore this as our away strip. Sort of similar to this years, and we didn't win a single away game that year either. I was a major fan of the Gold this year, bought a jersey as soon as they were out. Incredibly pissed off they scrapped it after a few games. I really, really hate this club sometimes..

You’re coming dead last with one round to go.

Yeah, it’s the jersey you wore twice at the start of the year that is to blame...........

I thought I could come here to discuss footy not get ridiculed, guess I expected too much. Just like reddit, you get shit on because of the picture next to your name.

At no point am I blaming the jersey for coming last, it's just pure coincidence the similarities between the 2013/2018 aways and how a jersey was scrapped so early in the season. A horrific loss with the jersey on and then it vanished from sight. Don't you find that interesting?

The post was aimed at Parramatta, not you.

That was an x-blades jerseys (first year of x-blades-2013). Before this year ISC finished in 2011 and 2012 were some other brand, RL13 I think.

With your other point, I too am a fan of the gold away jersey, and don't know why it was dropped after 2 games.

big hit!

Yep.
And check out the different jerseys at the shop.....heritage, home, foundation, away, indigenous.....only a f**kwit would want every one of them every single f**king year.

not just having a go at parra but every NRL club and the NRL itself for letting match day strips in the NRL become the joke that it is.

The two clubs who have done the most for Women's RL (Sharks and Knights).... not there.

Politics always wins the day.

Knights didn’t apply!

And sharks have been well documented but the Dragons/Illawarra have done at least as much and offered a better geographical location.
Not our fault the sharks represent such a tiny hole on a map

I get the feeling that the women's dragons represent the Illawarra side more so than the st george side,
then there is a Sydney team, a Brisbane team, and a NZ team
Makes sense for a 4 team comp
expand eventually with a West Sydney team, Melbourne team, Newcastle Team and probably a second QLD team and that'd be a good 8-team comp for the womens game

Yes exactly. TBH Illawarra has done heaps for women’s RL. They just don’t pat themselves on the back and act like they invented women like Cronulla do.

Love this rabbits jersey

Yep, it's good stuff. Should be their away jersey IMO.

Have a traditional red & green striped jersey (without side-panels, black shorts) as home - the traditional look, and the red with green V & white shorts as away.

3rd ('alternate') or Indigenous or ANZAC jersey can be a mostly black or mostly white jersey, with red & green elements on it.

Easy peasy.
