One of a few clubs that have a longstanding issue with their look/recognition in the league. This club and the Warriors have jumper/colour recognition problems. Some other clubs create jumper recognition issues which is plain stupidity, (short-term market gain without seeing the long-term fan loyalty damage)but these two clubs have yet to nail down a consistent and recognisable appearance.

To Penrith's credit it *appears* as though they're committed to the licorice allsorts schemefor the forseeable future

That jersey would be fine were it not for the stupid Panther they've plastered across the front again. It's redundant and cartoonish and just highlights how poorly executed the logo is...

At least it doesn't have teal around it like the chest logo.

Are there any NRL rules prohibiting Penrith from dropping the teal from the logo now that it's not in their colour scheme anymore? I don't recall any restrictions on years between logo changes, seems like a no brainer to change the logo to be in line with the rest of their strip. Not that jersey change guidelines are very strict/enforced anymore.

1. Anyone got any pics of that wicked 7s jersey Penrith had in the 90s which I reckon that’s based on?
2. “Alternate” jerseys are even more unnecessary than away jerseys. Ps Penrith already have a white jersey ffs.
3. Get rid of the stupid big cat

Considering that this jersey replaces a bright pink one, your post makes no sense. The colours are now constant throughout the three strips.

? Beg to differ. Most on this website would comment that the Panthers do not maintain a consistent look. Nor the Warriors. Quite often people will be watching either side on tv and ask who's playing . This would not be the case for well recognised colours of clubs like Parramatta, Canterbury Bankstown etc. These clubs are readily recognisable unless they stuff up with some themed strip for a quick money grab.

Still on Souths, the jersey sponsorship has been confirmed for 2018 and Crown is now confirmed to be on there, turns out we actually do have a proper Away jersey.
