Regardless of the name debacle - and I think Redcliffe should "put up (an NRL bid) or shut up (and let someone else use the Dolphin nickname)" - why oh why did they dump the turquoise and orange colours as well?

It would have been far more distinctive in the NRL than the Titans current EelShark mix.

(Edit) Actually, with them using less and less yellow these days, it's just getting closer and closer to Gold Coast Sharks. Heyyyy.... now there's an idea......

F*ck, GC have the worst branding in the comp....

They dropped gold and the shade of blue changes year-to-year. Its like they are trying to be unrecognisable.

My guess would be that its tougher to sell merch with that colour combo, and that they wanted a clean break from previous colours that they've used (the Charger's "jade" was reasonably similar).

I don't have a problem with the double blue and gold, particularly in the proportions their new uniforms have.

I think if you are going to have such a big rectangular sponsor like that then you are better off going down the Parramatta path and leave some designated real estate for a sponsor..and if you're lucky enough, your sponsor will have their colour in common with one of yours. I also completed the sword handles.

The design is almost unsalvagable. The only solution is to lower the sponsor significantly and allow the swords to form a proper vee.

I can't see how a complete V would work without having the sponsor too low. It worked better with the Aquis logo but the Titans can't afford to be picky with sponsors at the moment.

As usual, excuse my TERRIBLE Paint effort, but surely a vee this deep is no deeper than Roosters or 2017 Dragons vee? Or kangaroos/blues? Surely it could work?

Looks better but it isn't a complete V. Shift the sponsor another couple of inches lower and the sponsor might say bye bye.

USA Today have a site (wire) dedicated to each NFL team. They have their own logos made up for each of the clubs. This is the one from "Cowboys Wire" that I have re-coloured. Our press do a similar thing for TV and the papers but they usually just use a small jersey or a logo with V's like fox league does.It would be great if they got imaginative and created alternate logos. I know the opening sequence of channel 9 football last year or the year before featured fierce animated versions of all the mascots which I thought were very creative.
