I’d probably go Inglis to FB. Morgan to centre (played there in game 3 last year) and Milford or Ponga on bench.

Not sure about that. Move Inglis out of the left centre for Morgan and any defensive issues NSW have with Roberts at right centre isn't as bad.

How about Munster to FB (killed it there when Slater was out for a season), Morgan to the halves?

Or just play Ponga. He's the heir apparent anyway and has confidence to burn

Considering he’d be leaving a holiday to fill in and then go back on holiday, seems reasonable to decline.

This is what I'm fearing will happen. The Blues have the better team on paper and have the right attitude but we know what the Maroons are like. Not having Slater is going to really leave them without some leadership. I was imagining Slater was going to be the guy to fire them and now they lose that and his experience.
