Couldn’t agree more. All this talk of NSW being unbeatable is already setting it up perfectly for the QLD ambush.

No one is saying it's unbeatable. They're just enjoying the clean out that came years too late but better late than never.

People talking about Latrell & Roberts' D as though they let in 3 tries every game.

Locky and JT are two of the worst defensive halves I've ever seen at rep level and yet I didn't see Qld leaving them out on that account.

You pick your best players. End of. And Latrell is NSW best left centre by a mile and Jimmy is the best right centre.

Glad they picked the Fox. Looks like two strong attacking teams, hopefully its an open free flowing game. Certainly a changing of the guard series that will see NSW much closer due to the loss of Qland's once in a lifetime world class spine.

I've said it earlier Cliff,I think this side needs a hitout together before it will be ready. I'm nowhere near as confident as some arrogent "journos",who think its already a 3-0 to the Blues.

Agreed. But I reckon Fitler would have a pretty good plan, he has a smart football brain

A low intensity game against nsw cup opposition or something would be smart to get combos working

We definitely have them in the forwards and speed in the backline but one big advantage QLD has is their back 5 are exceptional at the tough meters.
Holmes, Gagaga, Inglis and Chambers can easily get a roll on early in the sets.

defence is part of being a really good player

Roberts is just questionable on so many grounds, and Mitchell is so inexperienced, Aitken was perhaps the only other option, and he's dodgy as f**k. or Peachey but he's a backrower...

Just reflects how centres have become an afterthought in today's game TBH

I worry more about the back three starting sets, Tedesco and Addo Carr aren't big units, and TomT is out of position - think leaving out Cotric was a mistake, and Sauce being hurt is a shame

But there are points in them - and a lot depends on what the refs do, if the penalty-athon contunues (I doubt it will) NSW will win with goal kicking...

the NSW pack should get the edge, but that was the case last year too

Agreed.

I like the Badge.

Hey players make it easy for the poor refs, get on side, get off the guy playing the ball, makes for a better game.
The Badge is the best pocket ref in the game and Sutton as lead over Cecchin is laughable.

I don’t care about conspiracies etc Klein is simply the worst ref in the game.
