might be a problem if say Mary gets hooked in the middle of next season but Flanagan cant step up to take over so they will need a back up to their back up

If that happens one of the other assistants will be named head coach but you can bet it will be Flanagan calling the shots.

BA punted Potter. I dont think he'd be interested in Flanagan.
Im thinking Grima will probably step into Potters position.

Yeah, pretty much.

Would make the coaches box shots during games more fun as we could all play spot the head coach.

Brisbane @ $17?
Lol, they are a long way from winning a Premiership. Manly also at $17 has a much better chance than them I reckon.

It’s important to me. This current one sucks massive arse.

I would love to see something like the one below that Chiefy1 uses in his avatar, without the white sponsor patches on the shoulders though and maybe a gold trim at the bottom also. I have been dying for a Parra V designed jersey all my freakin life. Maybe one day.

But I'm definitely with Avenger on this one. The current jersey sucks big time and the type of jersey we wear does matter to a lot of us. The jersey is our on field representative. Players come and go but the jersey always remains. And what's with the white shorts ffs!

Donkeys are near always shorter odds than they should be because Queenslander's will put money on them regardless of value.

Aren’t these the starting odds though? Don’t the bookies pick these as the most likely teams to win, and then adjust them as the money begins to come in?

Sure they are, but the bookies need to make the odds attractive enough for punters to lay a bet to begin with, and then as the bets are laid they'll adjust them accordingly.

The Donkeys are always shorter priced than you would have though because the odds don't need to be as attractive in order to get the punters to lay their money down. The bookies know they'll get plenty of support from Qld punters.

So basically what you’re saying is Queenslanders = idiots?
