Looks like we won't get anymore play for the rest of the day. Can't see a result from here with only two days left.

England should be banned from hosting cricket with the atrocious weather they've had this summer.

Draw favourite, but I reckon there’s still enough time for a result.

next two days will be extended as well.

If England roll us for 150-175, or if we somehow get a 100 run lead, could bring a result into calculations.

If this had been last year I would agree, but we need to get smith out twice in two days. Plus bat an innings ourselves. That just doesn’t seem at all likely.

A draw seems the best result we can hope for. We still haven't avoided the follow on yet and runs aren't exactly flowing..
They don't need to get Smith out, they've just got to get his batting partners and we've got a long hit and miss tail.

If we can’t get smith we’ve no chance of enforcing a follow on, he would get enough in between us getting everyone else.

Weather looks good next couple of days

Are they making up to an hour each day? 30min before play and an extra 30 at stumps?

Should get well over 200 overs in.

We need to bat first couple of sessions today at least

What do you mean? There's no follow on to enforce

If the poms dismiss us for 107 they can enforce the follow on (150 behind in a truncated match).

Can't see that happening unless Wadey is not out 0 off 180 balls.

There will be if we don't score another 28 runs. Which, granted we should be able to do. Should...

The umpires made the call to abandon play around 4.20pm local time and the match will officially become a four-day fixture with the toss taking place on Thursday and overs added to the end of each day. The follow-on margin, if required, will be reduced to 150 accordingly.

Basically that's got to be the first thing to do whenever play resumes. No more wickets lost until we've avoided the follow on, keep chomping into the lead from there.
I doubt England will look to declare their innings with anything less than a 300 run lead, probably 350+ given how conservative they are.
