Yep would have been close to 35k if coming off two wins.

27-30k I think, today has seen a bit of a jump.
First weekend game of the season should give it a boost. Both lower ends seem to be pretty full so 30k would be good.
Any idea on how magic round numbers are looking? Probably hard to gauge due to the number of multi day passes

Even better double header on the Saturday at Bankwest of the Tigers and Dogs games. There is so much opportunity now to do things differently if the clubs and NRL come together to start to take them.

Double header at Bankwest for Dogs and Tigers home games.

In current form that is a good idea.

If they are playing well then not such a good idea.

Courier Mail said all three days almost sold out, tickets still available for the Thursday game.

How many do you think those fixtures would draw if on good form? Better we lose 2-3k ticket sales if both clubs on form but create another sell out NRL event in Sydney Id have thought?

Because NRL doesnt?

The problem is sections 338, 305, 326, 325, 318, and 319.

Magic round is hard because they haven’t been selling the stadium as a normal category run. It’s all over the place. Hopefully they change to the interactive map and i can give better estimates.

Thursday - 15k
Friday - 40k
Saturday - 45k
Sunday - 35k

AFL have a "ANZAC Eve" game tonight,

Would that work crowd wise for us? 7:30/8 tonight vs the 6pm Friday game?

When? That’s great. What are they gonna put in its place?

Refinery has gone, not burning off of excess gas of a day and crap in the air.Just storage tanks for refined petrol.A lot of guys lost their jobs as a result.
Oh wait we do have a sewerage treatment plant on the way to Kurnell, and a desal plant,I mean what more does a community want?

exactly. New buzz can only last so long

Look on the bright side, they'll get far more than they would playing at Panthers or ANZ even on a Thursday night.
If we can't get decent crowd increases when WSS,SFS and ANZ all done.then we'd better get Gutherson, Tom Turbo,Cam (ref) Smith etc taking up chess.

No doubt. Even a half full WSS will be awesome that is the good thing with it

Because NRL doesnt?

Depends who they are playing.

If they are in form and playing a Sydney team then 20k not out of the question for each game.

If playing Raiders, Titans, Cowboys, then yes double header would work quite well.

Anzac eve could be a fixture to make permanent, maybe one to give bankwest - to be honest it’s better than it being Anzac Day night. Unless Anzac Day is on or before a weekend.

The NRL should start handing our freebies left right and center for Thursday. Start doing it now.

Melbourne Storm will unveil a world-first pre-game experience at its annual ANZAC Day blockbuster tomorrow night.

The Blackout ceremony has become a must-see event in Australian sport and Storm - market leaders and innovators around consumer experience - will take its game day product to a new level.

Tomorrow night's blackout will feature the first ever 3D mapping and animation projection show on the inside of a sporting stadium during a live sports event.

The 25-minute production is a collaboration between Storm, Max Events and Twisted Pixel and took over 500 hours to produce.

The imagery will be projected on the roof of the stadium using 30 lights and projectors and will feature cultural art designed by local artists, highlighting Indigenous and Maori cultures.

With over 50 cultural performers on the field the ceremony will include Welcome to Country, the Ode, Last Post and both the Australian and New Zealand national anthems.

This world-first production and the contest to follow is a sporting event not to be missed – tickets available here.
