Giventhere seems to be a lot of other club nrl fans in Queensland plus some of the broncos fans who might have got the weekend pass surely we would be close to selling out today? Anything less than 40k tickets sold would be disappointing. Will be Interesting to see how the crowd ebbs and flows during the three games. Caxton Street is a big attraction near by when you get sick of stadium beer and it’s prices!

Some of you are in la la land. Forget averages, facts are facts.

All averages do is pat stats.

If you’re putting on 3 first grade NRL games & you can’t sell 50K tickets at a venue like Suncorp you’ve got problems no ifs or buts.

Last night had both teams played at home ie

Tigers v Penrith at Leichhardt/Campbelltown they would have drawn around 12K give or take

Manly at home against Brisbane even in Brisbane would have drawn around 30K, maybe 35K.

How is that any better then last night.

Let’s do the math
For arguments sake, your estimates .
12 + 30= 42

Using the NRL’s method
35 + 7 = 73

@Timmah can you clean up this thread pls

I'd like some transparency on how they are doing the figures, it seems it was easier to just count a double header crowd twice and call it a day - no one really argued about it. Tonight will be a clusterf**k haha.

There was 41k there
Either divide that by 2
Or tell the truth
There was about 16k for tigers panthers and 30k for broncos Manly.

Counting people twice who cruised in for the last 10 mins of the first game is shit.

Have been here both days with a three day pass. If I was not to come tomorrow that would not count to tomorrow’s crowd. They have announced 25k for this Dogs-Knights game but there would be more than that here now. The crowds around the stadium and in the pubs/beer gardens suggest a lot of people are drifting in and out so seats filled wont give a great indication. The bay I am in has been like a train station with people constantly coming and going
