I reckon an average of about 3/4 of your overall ticket holders is where teams should be.
You’ll never get every ticket holder there every game.

If the teams going shit obviously you’ll get less.

The teams with the strongest crowds are more than likely 1 team towns or ones with a large number of ticket holders.

Whilst understanding the nerve Perth can pinch with the sharks at times, there is a point that there can be no complaints about scheduling at good times when the crowds don't respond in numbers to the games that are on at an attractive time. How is that sending a message to the NRL? If the NRL see big crowds at the times people want for the games they want to see, it may help incentivize future scheduling. Sometimes the NRL is to blame, sometimes its the fans.

Agree. The crowd at a decent time last Sunday afternoon, with one team absolutely getting panned by their fans and not turning up,still got 13,600 plus, with many not having seats.

I've always stated Thursday night and Friday 6pm timeslots, are crowd killers. And ANZ stadium is a pariah The one way that would assist,is having an extra game(18 team comp).

One minute we cry because there is little money around, yet there would be less if we changed the scheduling.

Yep that Thursday night game is an example..
My point is ordinary crowds happen with bad scheduling, in one team cities and poor performances..The above comments reinforce that point.

But Sharks v Dragons on a sunny sunday afternoon in the fans backyard is none of those things, so you really dont have a point lol. The inference seemed to be the NRL are stupid for not having fixtures to maximise crowds (though I dont know how at this end of the season you can do that unless we go back to end of season fixtures not being arranged until later in the year). Merely pointing out when they do schedule a so called big fixture in a good time slot the fans still dont bother going. And your not orphans in this, Souths v Bulldogs would be another most recent example.

Its interesting that the massive upswing in memberships over last 5 years hasnt had any impact on avg attendance?

Parramatta v Canterbury may draw a decent crowd tonight? Aware it's Thursday but surely Bulldogs fans have worked out their team are not pushovers anymore? It's an important game for the Eels as well. Interesting to see how many show up at the new stadium!

LOL You missed my point unsurprisingly.
I cannot remember the last time ,when the Dragons were in such a perilous position on the ladder, nor the utmost disgust of their fans such fans they have dropped off in large numbers.
I'll repeat one more time ,for sometime living thousands of Ks away and is so far out of the loop it's not funny. The overwhelming majority of fans who turned up on Sunday afternoon were Shark's supporters.Normally you would get decent numbers of Dragon's fans turn up,they simply did not arrive.
Yet still on a time friendly schedule Sunday 4pm, with SFA Dragon's fans ,over 13,500 still turned up, of that number the overwhelming majority were Shark's fans.
Imagine if it had been a Thursday night.
The other points which you ignore and just don't get, few like going to ANZ regardless of time slots, and regardless of when they are scheduled. Souths and Dog's fans have dropped off going there.
The Eels have shown with their new rectangular stadium, their fans will turn up in numbers, which they didn;t do at ANZ.

^ those numbers seem about right. Would expect a bit less for Parra and Raiders, a bit more for Brisbane.

Alright, something just doesn't seem right about that stadium. The top tiers always look completely empty, how can it be 18,000 in a 30,000 seater when there were no visible people in the top section?
