Well its sad that Rugby League fans in Sydney can't be arsed to go and watch a final and some mentioned Origin 3 in Sydney there was ticket give away which is not right.

I think it will by Sunday, they might start selling the premium categories as bronze and silver to sway the maybes.

Yes and no. Free tickets are generally given out to announce it as a sell out.

What stunned me last year was that sportsbet gave out free tickets on game day (and yet also had a betting market on the estimated crowd).

Just did a dummy run, Diamond gets you bay 401, platinum 103. Not very good value if you ask me, For the price of a diamond ticket i'd expect to be somewhere near half way.

Still not a good look to have freebies being handed out this late in the game. Shows we still have a long way to go with building hype for events like this. The GF should be a near instant sellout regardless of teams involved.

Because they are constantly changing, so they replaced the categorised map with a generic stadium map.

Pretty much this, when I bought my Bronze ticket a couple of months ago it was clearly in the Gold section as pictured on the map.

Easy fix is to give out 20k seats to corporate sponsors like the AFL do. Taking in account the MCC members holds 25k and the AFL members holds 25k the competing club members fight for only 30k seats. Getting Canberra and Roosters fans filling up the ANZ is tough although i thought Raiders had bigger support. 2016 there were Sharks fans paying 300% of face value on ebay

Yep, I was getting blocks of 8 in platinum and gold this morning - the nrl have just printed the remaining 1-2k and will distribute. Crowd will be good.
