Just having Melbourne in the league has grown the audience regardless of who makes it. We could have had Adelaide and Perth (admittedly smaller markets) on board right now if we weren’t so short sighted and backwards thinking.

Buried in the article is the fact they are referring to tickets sold over this past weekend, one day if which only one participant in the game was known.

No mention of how tickets tracked during the season or on Monday when roosters tickets went quicker than raiders.

Hearing more reports of people who compromised on extremely pricey tickets early only to find far better ones available today for the same price or better.
