i still can’t believe the prices from last week. $100 to sit in bay 318 for a regular season game is extortion. But they know us idiot fans will pay it because it’s the ‘derby’

Nearly 22k, on a wet Thursday night, definitely not terrible. As said above, Sunday arvo would have been perfect, but Tv dollars pay the bills.

The Broncos played Wigan on a Wednesday night in 1994 in front of 54,220. It is possible to entice people out on a week night and I think the NRL should work with clubs to put a bit more effort into the Thursday night experience at the ground so it is worth going out for.

Yes it’s totally the same thing comparing a R3 game against StG and a one off world championship game. Totally.

Yep, those $20 tickets are released in the middle tier corners for some games, but limited to two bays and not marketed. They opened more areas up with that price but not till a few hours before kick off when everyone decided that home or bars were better for today.

At the gate, $45 for a GA ticket. $109 for eastern sideline. What do they expect? Would you pay $45 to sit behind the posts or sit at home and watch for free? Is 30k empty seats more valuable than filling those 30k seats for $15 each?

TV coverage is too good now. The sooner clubs realise this the better crowds will be

People have talked about improving match day experience but places like Suncorp are world class. The play on the field should always be the no.1 selling point but no matter how good it might be, charging like that won’t increase attendances
