Yep it is all just pot luck! It’s almost as if they are just happy to have 25k. Proper promotion and offering tickets at that price and the next game against Cronulla (on a saturday!!) would be 40k
It just seems complacency is deeply etched into the culture of the administration. I guess when they pull in $50m in revenue annually with $12m cash sitting in reserves they can rely on the hardcore 20k regulars to cover the costs. The $20 tickets (half for concessions i think) would sell out simply by plastering ads all over that new age (and free) thingy called social media.
A win vs Raiders and a Saturday night will be a decent test of supporters faith.

Agree with all of it. But the concession tickets were $20 too I believe, I think children were priced down to $15 for one but a family 2 adults and 2 children for $60. Funny how I saw a sponsored add this morning on Facebook, which the broncos put up at 9pm WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

Facebook charges via reach, and it only had 48k views so they were obviously stingey with that too.

Yes It seems the Broncos marketing people are reluctant to let the general public know about good deals! ? Very poor marketing attitude.

There is Broncos marketing material plastered all over the city centre all NRL season and the cheaper tickets were advertised on social media. I had an ad pop up in my feed which was most likely targeted because I search a lot of RL related material. At least do some research before you condemn people that can run a sporting organisation / business much better than you can.

Shame the team doesn’t take much notice, maybe next time they will turn up

Eagles crowds consistently after Fremantle were admitted. We need a second Brisbane team to create rivallary and motivate fans to go games.

@Burns - weather looks lovely in Newcastle and so do the presales on ticketmaster. I’m no MJS expert, do you think 22k-25k could be on the cards?

I’m in Paris! Gutted that Kayo doesn’t work overseas, so I’m no use for a month.
But maybe sales went better throughout the week then they looked earlier, or more members turning up today?

Wrong again! The issue was that the pricing deal was not well publicised . That's valid criticism. Yours is not!

Judging from Twitter photos, Newcastle looks sub 20,000. Eastern Grandstand pretty sparse.

I know I haven't attended is game due to finding out the Knights are wearing that orange strip . As soon as I heard that I decided to not go.
