Saints and Souths was not a decent slot. Thursday night isn't fan friendly. However I've seen or heard nothing about cheaper Thursday night tickets!? Absolutely nothing. That's poor marketing on my books!

That is my point. Need to make these games more of an event or why not stay home. Eat a family dinner, put kids to bed then watch on TV

A great crowd in Canberra as well 14,030 it’s a shame the raiders have been given some bad time slots for their next few home games but hopefully the team is competitive. It appears Canberra responds to a decent team.

Panthers asked for Sat night games... Got zero. Sponsors will love the exposure. The flip side is crowd is down

Presales are looking ok for Thursday. Could end up 24-28k.

I was thinking on The back of a good win, and against a high supporting team, like the dragons. The bronc’s could pull between 32-35. Will daylight saving’s make a difference. Kick off will be at 7:05pn in QLD.

Which is a good crowd but 10k down on what it could draw... Again though that is what Thurs night does
It is such a failure putting the team that booted us out of the finals last year on a Thursday night.

I would be happy for our Thursday night games to be against the likes of Canberra, Penrith, Newcastle etc.

7:05pm is so terrible unfortunately. Workers in the city can’t go back home to pick up kids etc, so it is a write off.

Stadium members sometimes show up on Thursday though.

That is where the NRL setting the draw was meant to help. Perfect for a Sunday like the semi was

Only three of those matches are bad slots. No reason the others can’t be family friendly. Shame about no Saturday nights for the panthers though.

Friday night is better than Thurs. WT v Panthers would sell out if it wasn't a Friday. Possibly Souffs and Dragons too

Forget relocating these teams, we know they have enough fans in Sydney

Just f*ck off these suburban dumps. The fans have clearly decided they arent going to turn up.

Mate, you’re an absolute cry baby.

God help you if you ever have to spend any time in a real dump.

I don’t see the Roosters pulling big crowds regularly. The big ANZAC Day game against St George bloats their figures. Other than that, they’re the same as everyone else.

And 6pm Friday is even worse but overall attendance for NRL is top 20 in the world for a domestic comp. So not hopeless

Friday 6pm is not worse than Monday! Even Thursday night is not worse than a Monday! That's something the NRL has got right in a problematic scheduling scenario. What is lacking is a Thursday night special like half priced entry and this to be well publicised!
