You weren’t being sarcastic, that wasn’t even sarcasm... you misinterpreted what I said, which is fine.

DWZ can definitely improve, just not in the areas that make Edwards a better FB.

Edwards has a better footy brain, he sees things occurring on field and talks to his team mates. He reads the opposition better, that’s why he is positionally better than Dal.

You learn these things as you come through the JNRs, it’s football instinct, if Dal doesn’t have it by now, he won’t get it in a pre-season. Which is fine, He doesn’t need it.

Of course I was being sarcastic you don’t actually believe I think you have a brilliant understanding of the position do you? Lol

Anyway this discussion is pointless, Edwards has a better footy so he talks more, you just keep repeating the same thing.

In 2 out of his 3 games for NZ at fullback Dallin has been the best on the field. I still think id go Edwards but its a legitimate question who gets the nod

Which is why I have it at a 50/50 call. DWZ is only a year older then Edwards. So even age is close.

Granted it took Edwards/RTS getting injured to have this discussion but that is footy

Indeed. f**k me the off season is long.

It's only long because our cricket team sucks dogs balls. The Aussie summer was always cathartic for me as after the (usual) disappointing season following the Panthers I could watch an entertaining and generally winning Aussie cricket team. Now I just can't watch them.

BBL has also lost it's lustre for me probably a few season back but I haven't watched more than 5 minutes of a game all season.

I can't wait till the Panthers are on the field again, and despite me thinking this for the past 3-4 seasons and being let down badly every time - I think we are in with a real shot this season.

Fortunately we don’t have to wait much longer as the first trial games are only 4 weeks away. I actually think the off season has gone really quick, can’t wait to see the boys run out again!
