People talk about how uneven the NRL is and yada yada but the only side that can hold a candle to those Melbourne sides and this Roosters side, which was a force from 2007 until about July 2014 when Watmough did Watmough things was a team run on the smell of an oily rag...

I’d add the 2009/2010 dragons to that, albeit a shorter period.

Both those teams are evidence that professionalism, great coaching and player’s motivation are more important than money.

I prefer the Storm to the Roosters. The Storm may be hated for legit reasons but I’ve never hated them myself. By contrast I’ve been anti Roosters since they profited off one of our greatest ever juniors and made him their own legend. Then I remember their arrogance back in 2003 assuming they had the divine right to win back to back titles and their lack of respect for our GF victory, blaming the rain etc I just can’t see anything to like about the club or fans, regardless about how good of a team they are and good they may be to watch.
