Y'all been looking in the wrong places for the new NRL and premiership logo

Wonder how that premiership logo will go onto the jerseys, is it on a white background? and is the colour interchangeable like the a league logo

Will have to see how they are applied before making a proper judgement. I like the idea but there is certainly a case for them looking bland.

Nope. The first one is the NRL corporate logo which will apparently be superceded by a mono-colour green version without the stars.

The second ones match correctly though. The first new one is just the second one without a sponsor

Ok got it now.

I doubt they will have these without a backing colour. While they might work on some jerseys are are a single colour across the chest, they will be lost on say a roosters jersey. It will be like the old Telstra premiership logo with the white background.

Titans fans initially picked their best design. Then they never bothered asking them ever again.

I would actually argue that the vote was them just being consistent as ever.

If they really cared about the clubs image, they would have limited the vote to foundation members. Instead, they let anyone and everyone vote on it just to get a quick bit of attention. Pure gimmick.

It definitely produced a better result than anything we have seen since, but the approach to the clubs image and branding has been fundiamentally brocken since the beginning...

f**k man, good find.

Looking at all of them together though, i think most of them will never go on jumpers. They look more like phone app icons and email headers.

(If nothing else, it is so interesting to see logos reduced to their absolute fundaments. It shows what they think the core of their image is)

I am concerned that Newcastle are changing their logo. Concerned because I believe the current one is as simple as you'd want it to go, because the current one is awesome as it is, and because the one that's on the letter I received yesterday is just black and does not contain the word 'NEWCASTLE'.

I have seen this on and off for a couple of weeks, but figured it was just a 2019 membership logo ... and it may still just be that, but the way it's used on the letterhead (and in the complete absence of the current logo anywhere) is what has started ringing some alarm bells in my head.

Countering this, though, is that the 2019 members gear, which mostly still have the current logo.

I REALLY hope this is just a secondary, gimmicky logo for the membership side of things and/or social media icons, ect.

The Knights could do with a minor simplification of the logo but that's way too much. That wordmark is cleaner but loses the charm that the current one does.

So basically it's the range Classic puts out for all clubs just in different colours. Here you'll find blurred out logos with "new logo" text on the gear for Storm and the Panthers. No changes for the Knights logo but it wouldn't be the first time this range had outdated logos or colours.

Well it looks like the same logo - probably just recoloured to remove the teal.
