Lol, even in the forum has est 1921.
St George has always controlled the joint venture, that’s why it works.
Unlike the Wests Tigers

What to Dragons fans from the Illawarra think? not having a dig at you just generally wondering how people on that side of the merger feel

I am a Dragons fan from the Illawarra. I was a Steelers fan before the joint-venture. While the Illawarra were a separate team from 1982-1998, the Illawarra was always part of Dragons territory before that. Our region contributed plenty of players (including an immortal) to St George before the Steelers entered the competition. St George played games in Wollongong as early as the 1920's and there are newspaper clippings from before they were called the "Dragon-slayers" in which they are referred to as the "Illawarramen". The Illawarra was a part of all 11 of those consecutive premierships.

I've never liked that logo. Looks like a guitar pick with a shark with a huge over bite ontop of it.
It was more a reference to the 19 part... it looks like a variant of the new NRL premiership logo posted a page or two back

Neither. Sharks are due for an update of their logo. I know they’ll never go back to classic round logo, but maybe a hybrid of that and the current would be good

I like the shark in the Sharks logo but the rest of it I don't really care for, especially the wordmark.
