When revealed a few years back Gould was raving on that the logo would last them the next 30 years, so much for that.
Just waiting for the right time to reveal aqua and purple as the new club colours again

Seriously dare someone to find a better combo of colours than this View attachment 23366
Do trials count?Seriously dare someone to find a better combo of colours than this
Do trials count?
Why would they have '21' emblazoned all over the St George Illawarra merch when their first year was '99?
I was debating whether or not I should post this after dropping a few little pieces of information a few pages back - but there's nothing too revealing here anyway. This is Classic's winter catalogue for next season: https://www.classicsports.com.au/catalogues/19_NRL_WINTER_CAT/mobile/index.html#p=1
So basically it's the range Classic puts out for all clubs just in different colours. Here you'll find blurred out logos with "new logo" text on the gear for Storm and the Panthers. No changes for the Knights logo but it wouldn't be the first time this range had outdated logos or colours.
I remember wondering where jersey design would go to from this point when the Panthers brought this out.Seriously dare someone to find a better combo of colours than this View attachment 23366
Ah. The eye of the tiger design.Do trials count?
How about this?Seriously dare someone to find a better combo of colours than this View attachment 23366
Agreed but it shouldn’t, as the club will play it’s 21st season in 2019. St-George-Illawarra Dragons have one premiership and two GF appearances.I expect the number on the Dragons gear will cause a few complaints amongst the faithful...

If this design was for St George Dragons, then they’d be right.
Haha yep.Are the Warriors and Cowboys playing their 95th seasons? Are the Wests Tigers celebrating their 00th season?
It's a stuff up.
Now that's a jerseyHow about this?

The reason why dragons do that is because they still want to milk the 12 prems in a row story. If they acknowledged the merger then the premiership dynasty is obsolete. I know because I used to work with a one eyed dragons fan and he would always say how they won 12 in a row. And I would always say no, that was St George Dragons but St George Illawarra had won nothing... then I would mention 99 Grand Final ( and all war would break loose)Good news, best n less bucks the trend. While every team has an EST X [insert year here], with Dragons they have ST X GI or just scrap it all together. Here's a comparison with another merged team
