2019 Jerseys/Logos/Sponsorships

Storm home looks *ok*. Not awesomely good, but not horrible.

I hope they do something cool with the away.. like bringing back the gold away jersey, or using silver as a main colour (imagine silver with purple V, and just a *little* navy blue trim..)

Got to say, this year's crop of jerseys is the best since 1996.

Got to say, this year's crop of jerseys is the best since 1996.

Gold/yellow has been completely removed from Storm’s identity. It’s only sparingly used on social media, the website and some membership stuff and is only on the home jersey this year because it’s left over from last season. Grey/silver has replaced it as one of our colours.

Agreed. Hopefully the Home will be just as good with sponsor intergration.

Interesting to note though that at the bottom of the jersey near the side panel, the white is extended and curved. You can clearly see it in that photo of Sutto.

Not a fan of the red NRL logo on the jersey and black logo on the shorts.......

Interesting that it’s not green to match the part of the jersey it’s on.

Also the Premiership logo text will look rubbish on white shorts as you won’t be able to see the text at all. There’s about 6 or 7 teams with white shorts.

If the V was just a tiny bit shallower and wider it could finish at the exact same point without anything needing to be cut off for a sponsor logo.

I'm expecting it to be the exact same design with a red stripe on the sleeves. Except the trim colour will be black as you say.

As long as you’ve got companies putting millions of dollars into clubs to allow them to operate there are always going to be comprimises. I would rather a club design their jersey having a sponsor in mind than have to cover the design with a logo later. Not every sponsor is going to be okay with having their logo displayed lower.

Bizarre that any half-knowledgeable NRL fan needs this explained. They who pay the bills call the shots
