2019 Ladder Predictions

Honestly I expected that to happen during the latter stages of this past season, I don't think it will be an issue what so ever, if anything the players seemed to get behind him more so than ever before, no concerns for me
The issue I meant is between Bennett and the back office. The players seemed to have had a fine season under him when you take in consideration some of the brilliant performances they put in.

To me,there must be outside pressure building from fans who haven't had a GF win for 12 years, which is a very long time for a club with the which stature they hold.

But who knows, all this is simple conjecture. The Broncos have the nucleus of a very good side to rip in and tear it apart next season.

1 Storm - even losing Billy the Grub, they will be very tough to beat
2 Broncos - will get even more favorable calls from refs, with it being Bennett's final season
3 Knights - if they stay fit, they will be contenders
4 Roosters - injuries will hurt us throughout the season :(
5 Sea Eagles - the Des Effect will lift them
6 Sharks - not as good as 2018
7 Dragons - another good start, another good fade away
8 Warriors - good team. will do enough to plays finals footy

9 Raiders - another year of no finals
10 Rabbitohs - the big sliders. Roosters exposed their gameplan
11 Panthers - Ciraldo just isnt good enough to be a finals coach
12 Cowboys - ok team
13 Titans - meh
14 Eels - expect some improvement
15 Bulldogs - nothing to see here
16 Tigers - too dependent on Robbie and Benji, and will have to deal with the coaching sideshow

Broncos to improve as their young stars develop. 3rd
Bulldogs will show the fight to be in the mix but lack talent and will finish last. 16th
Raiders to be a mixed bag with a weak halves pairing 7th
Sharks to consolidate with Holmes to be a possible Dally M year approaching. 2nd
Titans will be stronger and have some good depth enough to get intp the eight. 8th
Storm will be up and down more than before but will scrape in thanks to Cam 6th
Sea Eagles Hasler will get the team back to competitive but still too many dramas 13th
Warriors needed RTS in god mode all year to finish 8th this season 12th
Knights need a couple more forwards 9th
Cowboys will take a while to click but come home with a wet sail 4th
Eels will show just how much of a difference Fergo will make. Squad is unstable 15th
Panthers will falter down year for them 11th
Rabbitohs Cook will come back to the field a bit and so will the Rabbitohs, still decent 5th
Roosters will clinch yet another minor premiership 1st
Dragons will fall I cant see them improving on this season 10th
Tigers will be embroiled with drama which unfortunately sees them drop 14th

Cowboys
Rabbitohs
Storm

The great man has spoken.

Albert,,, where do you see New Zealand's improvement coming from?
Actually, I'd love to hear from Albert, AND Stevo Stevenson on this topic. Both at the exact same time.
The same time boy, coz it can't happen. That's a joke son, see Albert and Stevo are the same man. Are you keeping up here boy ?

Doubt Knights will get into the 8. I'd take 9th though, as long as we're crawling upwards and not falling back down. Please no more bottom 4.

13. Titans

15. Parra/Manly
16. Manly/Parra

Almost entirely convinced Parra and Manly will play the Spoonbowl Round 25. I don't think you'll be able to separate them until then. They're both equally trash.

If Madge goes to the Tigers then they move into the eight. I'll drop Dragons out of my eight

Surprised so many tipping us Knights for big improvers. Without at least 2 big metre eater middle signings we will prob land about where we did in 2018 or worse.

There’s no way we’ll be worse unless Pearce, Ponga and Watson all miss large chunks of the season again.

You’re right about the tight forwards though. We won’t be able to beat the top sides without a quality signing or 2.

I’d say 7th-9th is a fairly realistic prediction at this stage.

Phew. I had some concerns but I can now take solace in the fact we won't be competing for the spoon in 2019.
