Well crowd of 20,000 happened at Shark Park in 2017.Sold out.I was there and if lining up for ever for a p*ss and a coffee was a mirage,then I must live in Tunisia.
How many 20,000 crowds for Sydney in 2018?
How many sellouts or 20,000 crowds for the Perth NRL side?

A bit disingenuous on two counts here don't you think? Suggesting Cronulla is limited purely to the Shire in terms of population, and limiting any club to its fanbase being in its home district.

My point simply was to show a cynic ,that even smaller clubs pull their weight, and compare well ,taking into account populations of the bigger one city clubs.Surely that's not an issue.
So far the Sharks have increased membership year on year, which reinforces also your point about fans and members are not limited to the domiciled area of the club.
I am fully aware ,Sharks fans also have moved to Central/Nth CoastGC/Sunshine Coast and South Coast NSW.
The club has spelt out the % of their membership living in other areas.One only has to post on the Shark's threads to get an insight .

Actually, since Cronulla is a Sydney suburb, Sharks have a drawing area of about 5mil people....

Its your own fault you limited yourselves to the Shire and it was clearly a mistake.

What a great advertisment of suburban grounds. Even a sniff of a good crowd and they immediately buckle under the preasure....

"Hey, do you want to line up for hours to take a piss or buy a beer? Then come on down to Shark Park, where our success means more pain for you!!!"

But you still accept the fact that 1 clubs cities cruise to success while to over saturated Sydney clubs need to struggle to even achieve a fraction of that?

So applying this: Perth should cruise to success while Sharks will continue to struggle as long as there are 8 other Sydney clubs.

It really sounds like Perth is the team we want to have....

So Sydney is over saturated and each club would do better if there were fewer in the market?

Its your own choice to stay where you are and handcap yourselves with 8 neighbours. I dont think you can expect sympathy because you CHOOSE to stay in a hard situation.
