Wouldn't that sort of info appear in clubs' annual reports? At least the receipts of membership sales, I doubt any club would give any kind of detailed breakdown.
Yeah would be.....guess you'd just have to divide the annual membership receipts by the final member count to get an average contibution per member. Couldn't be bothered going to the effort myself but would be curious about the results....Perth Red maybe?...usually disecting annual reports.

Big jumps from a few clubs and we're now back out in front of last year by 8k on the same day.

The biggest leap looks to be the Dragons who've somehow picked up ~5k in a week, while the Bulldogs look to have moved up a bit too. Roosters Manly and Titans still on struggle street.

This year’s Roosters tally is gonna look awesome compared to next year when the nostalgia around the SCG wears off on the fans at about round three.

Sadly for us nerds no you can’t tell as the revenue line in the financial reports is a mixture of revenue from memberships, gate receipts and sometimes corporate box sales and other game day related activity.

There’s a thread in the expansion area showing these revenue lines for some clubs if you’re interested.

Ps well done to the sharks, they are the only club I’ve seen give out any information on membership data.

Realistically whats in it for the clubs to do a full forensic breakdown of the member stats .

If it brings it $10m bucks

Who cares if you think it's 5000 members or 50000 members

No reason other than the drive for membership is to A) increase crowds B) increase revenue. Knowing 80% of members are one game types would help explain why clubs are still pleading poverty and why crowds aren’t growing.

It’s of interest to fans who like to compare apples with apples but that’s about it.

Raw membership numbers can’t be compared. For example, How many members are ticketed, and how many are remote?, how many memberships are for two or three games?, how many are non-ticketed supporters memberships?, how many are free?
Unless there is a breakdown like this it’s difficult to make judgements about how memberships affect attendances, who is most supported etc. I suppose they make some supporters happy though!
