I guess Gillett is there on experience and that he'll probably lift for Origin? Been pretty down on form this year from the few games i've seen.

QLD have plenty of good kicking options though. Hunt, DCE, Munster, Ponga, Morgan....still plenty of creativity there and can spread the load around a bit. Definite advantage over Blues there.

Cleary is the weakness for NSW. I hate to bag the kid but he's not an origin player, he's going to get slammed if NSW lose. Problem is theres hardly any better options.

Walker building upon last year's Indigenous match up:
NSW left edge: Walker - Mitchell - AdoCarr
QLD right edge: (DCE) - Chambers - Gagai

these should give us some excitement again

What were some of the stuff ups? I watch most games every week but when I switched on this game and saw Sutton I turned it back off.

Basically just BS ruck penalties that only tigers were getting pinned for when Souffs were just as bad if not worse

Sam getting tackled too hard, drops the ball, has a cry then gets a penalty and they score next set etc

Only have to watch the game day thread to understand how shit it was. Seriously the most one sided reffing I've seen in awhile

Not gonna pick for this one. Those squads are so even that no f**ker has any idea who will win it. Not the media, not the coaches, not the fans, not the bookies, nobody. When those teams are out there in that atmosphere and are able to get a read on the tempo the game is gonna be played at, whether it be slow and grindy or fast and open, whoever adapts the fastest will win.
