I agree. Crusher tackle penalties should only be awarded when a player hasn't backed into a tackle.

Players who stay down looking for a penalty whether a crusher or high shot are a blight on the game. Too many miraculous recoveries the second the penalty is blown.

They should be forced to be replaced for at least 10 minutes, assuming the team has a sub left. If not then the team plays for 10 minutes a player short.

Of course it would help if the referees had the balls to call players out on it.
