Didn't notice the 'Dangerous Contact' by Taunoa-Brown on Talakai.

Nor did the referee because there was no penalty.

it was after Talakai had bumped off Hiku, I think.

I didn’t notice it either, but I think a penalty may have been disadvantageous to the Sharks at that point. They were getting on a match winning roll

edit- it wasn’t that moment. It was when Talakai was coming off his own line. Talakai was hurt. I’m not sure how they got a suspension out of it though. Weird

Was there where he grabbed his neck? I remember him doing that briefly, but he got up and played the ball relatively quickly so he wasn't pleading for a penalty. I didn't notice any kind of crusher or anything. Seems odd.

I'd really like a summary video from the judiciary on a Monday to provide a visual of each incident.

was unclear to me. Something clearly stung Talakai, which is no small feat. Oh well

Haha the game has once again jumped the shark with that Paulo tackle being a penalty....it's buried itself in an unmarked grave with it attracting a charge

The Paulo penalty and charge should be enough to blow up the judiciary and start again. Absolute nonsense.

I knew they'd pull the most vague charge the could as it was a bullshit penalty+report in the first place but to pull a dangerous contact charge is beyond pathetic, dangerous contact charges have usually been used for things like late hits, cannons balls, you know actual contact, Paulo was making a tackle, not sure how they were able to twist the definition around but it's beyond pathetic.
For the record the MRC consists of former players michael Robertson, Luke Patten, Michael Hodgson and Anthony Quinn, I've lost any respect I've ever had for those ex players

Seems like they decided to impose a charge to validate 1.the injury to Fifita 2. The report and penalty in the game

There has been no media support for the charge , even the normal death riders said it was a joke. If it’s bullshit report , then don’t make it an issue by charging so the video ref is supported, really a dumb made up charge to validate the onfield incorrect decision.

I don’t even get what they are saying Paulo did wrong. Surely with so many embarrassing calls in that game they could just admit it was an error and move on

They're calling it a hip drop tackle which they've been penalising for weeks now. Jesse Bromwich missed a game against Parramatta for making a similar tackle on Ikuvalu.

I'm sick of the NRL's shit - how does Paulo get charge, and JWH gets nothing?

f**k the NRL. It's run by incompetent, amoral arseholes.
