I'm not saying your good-natured faith, and optimism, is wrong, but..

Do you believe that the team - throughout the second half of the season - played like a team that is placed third? Or do you believe that they played like a team that at one stage was leading the competition?

It's great we found a way to win, and win ugly, despite not playing too well - but there are obvious issues in the team, that look like they still haven't been addressed.

Now, perhaps the focus hasn't been on our recent form; perhaps Arthur knows, and trusts, that come the Finals, this team will lift.

But it's purely speculative; all we, as fans, can go on is what we see on the field every week, and for two months now, the team has played very average football, and it is a little concerning.

However, the Finals are a whole new ball game, so let's see how we go.

I listened to Bernie, and he made some good points.

But his words also came across to me as someone trying to re-focus the narrative onto what a great achievement finishing 3rd is (and it is).

I hope that the coaching teams can get the team focussed, but it isn't inaccurate to say that this team has some deficiencies, which have persisted for a few months, now.

I am excited for the Finals, but I still have some concerns.
