I'm going to just come out and say it - those deals for Fifita are completely insane.

Sure, he's young, and he has shown tremendous ability, and potential - but in my opinion, his fitness, mobility, and agility in defence do not place him in the upper echelons of edge forwards just yet.

He may get there one day, but I know I, for one, would feel more comfortable with Ryan Matterson defending on one edge, when we are clinging to a small lead, than David Fifita.

Maybe trolley boy is better than Big Mal...

Watched the segment tonight where they were talking about Bennett and Crawley just had to mention how he'd spoken to Bennett just the other day and Crawley reckons he can't see Bennett going anywhere. It really added nothing to the conversation, Crawley just wanted everyone to know he had spoken to Wayne Bennett. Fart sniffer of the highest order that merkin

It probably added a fair bit. Perhaps the idea that Bennett isn't going anywhere.
