2020 NRL draw

The low drawing game I can understand, first round should get a big crowd anyway.
The time slot is the problem for me.

No one likes the time slot. At least neither of us will have the short turnaround week 2, which is tough before you're into the groove.

It's just a bit repetitive opening the season 3 years running vs the same team when its not a derby or rival with any real history or rivalry against.

One year is just, ok, that's who we play, cool.

By the third year... give us a look at something different.

Just the NRL reminding us we don’t matter. Par for the course.
Not sure. After making the Grand Final and getting as close as you did interest would be at an all time high for Round 1 regardless of opponent or time slot.

Might be better to save the bigger games for later in the season when the weather is shit and interest isn’t as high.

international footy has always been there, im talking about the kangroos, no wonder nobody gi ves a f**k when we play 1 max 2 test a year..

blokes literally bleed for a sacred All Blacks jersey and their is some blokes there with 100 caps.. only way someone gets 100 caps in league is to play for 75 years..

agreed!

That’s the shitty attitude that the NRL take.
Hey well done for such a great season last year, because you did so well, here’s a 6pm Friday game because we’re banking on the wave of support to continue. Agreed the opponent could be anyone, the time slot should be fan friendly to build on their success from last year.

I know the pain. Try getting the shitty time slot all the time not because of any success but because you’ve got a loyal fan base.

You know Newcastle got a huge reduction in Friday 6pm this year right? It's like you all forgot 2019 existed.

Friday 6pm: Warriors & Titans 7, Panthers 5, Cowboys & Knights 4, Raiders & Sea Eagles 3, Wests Tigers, Sharks, Rabbitohs & Eels 2, Storm, Dragons & Bulldogs 1, Broncos & Roosters 0

That was this year's breakdown. From memory the Knights had 8 the year before.

I’d say it’s more because everyone in Newcastle is a f*#king bogan who knocks off work at 2pm on Friday’s
Nah it’s called loyalty. Being a Sydney based Rugby League supporter I’m not surprised you’re unfamiliar with it.

Raiders rewarded for a good season by getting the Friday 6pm game.

Honestly they need to f**k that game off as soon as contractually possible.

Whenever we’ve complained about getting 2-4 free TV games a year, we’re told that if we were more successful we would get more.

As the second- most successful team in the NRL in 2019, I expect absolutely nothing to change.

Typical, Broncos, Roosters 0 and channel 9’s other favourites once or twice which is probably in NZ or against the Knights
