I think Fittler has a lock fetish, in saying that at least Finucane and Brown are run first players. I think Haas starting is a good move, his best attribute is his motor, bit of a waste just playing him for a 20 spell

Our centres get destroyed and they aren't changed. Tupou gifts QLD a try on a platter and isn't dropped. Our pack goes nowhere in the second half and we keep two of the plodders from sides who didn't play finals footy or do anything last week Frizzell and Haas shouldn't have ever been picked letalone retained their spots.

Although really our issue last game was attitude. Not the team we picked. It wasn't great. But it was better than QLDs team. No one played with Origin intensity. The second Queensland did they destroyed our pack, carved up our edges and had NSW playing off the back foot the entire half.

Changing players won't fix the biggest issue. QLD came to play Origin and NSW showed up thinking they win without earning it

So the 5/8th with 3 Premierships and one Clive Churchill Medal gets dropped after one Origin game but the 0 Premiership halfback with the worst GF performance in living memory and zero try assists in 6 Origin games keeps his spot.

Cleary is next level teflon.

‘made his tackles, solid kicking game and kept a calm head’

or whatever they usually say

The squad was a very odd one:

* Why the loyalty to Frizzell, Jurbo and Cordner, but not Klemmer and Graham? I’d argue the later two have generally performed better at Origin

* If your club side had to sign a right center and for the same price got offered Zac Lomax and Clint Gutherson who do you pick? Same with a left center and Crichton or Wighton. We’re not asking who’s the better player, simply who would you pick at center? I’m confident we’d all pick Lomax and Crichton. So why change it for Origin?

Freddy seems to think because Turbo worked at center anyone else will too

* Walker looked dangerous and Keary looked sheepish. However both were better then the 7 who has never looked like making a single play in 6 Origins. So he kicks goal well, yet it was 3 tries all and we lost on goal kicking to a bloke who is like 3rd choice kicker for his club side

You're frothing at the mouth now. Really, Luai should have been brought in, to bring together the combination that blitzed all comers 17 games straight, but Freddy lost his balls somewhere along the M4 heading east in 1995 or so.
