They must make a mean latte there lol
I couln't tell you. Its probably the only drinking establishment in the area I've never been into. It's a safe bet that the soy milk truck is a regular though. I did move away from there when I was 19 to be fair.

I actually think most Roosters fans have been good at giving us credit where it's due. Honestly comes across as more Raiders and Eels fans that have issue with us.

Although in this game I dont blame anyone for backing Roosters against us. They're easily the best finals team in the competition. You dont win back to back comps by not knowing how to play in the big games.

Panthers however could maybe lift a gear for finals .. already be at our peak or perhaps crumble under the pressure. Haven't beaten a top 4 team in a final since week 1 2014.

Personally would have loved to have played either the Roosters or Storm within the last month to get a true sense of where the Panthers are at. Ah well, will find out Friday night.

The thing we have over these sides is young and being fit. That also can be a bad thing too. I guess we see which one it is

You only have to look not only at the wins, but the manner in which we have put the opposition away. It has me baffled the way the Panthers are playing, as our average for the whole season is 28-12.

That, plus the cavalier way they are playing, not to mention the determined defence are the reasons why this will be a win on Friday. No doubt this will be one for the ages, even with the loser still good enough to carve their way back to the GF.

If the mighty Penrith Panthers go all the way in 2020, that will be a win not only for the club with it’s amazing junior base that enriched the game so much but also for ‘Rugba Leeg’.

As opposed to the Rorters trying to buy another comp or even the Storm.. People will quickly forget about it.
When was Penrith's last premiership again?

I've forgotten.

Is that right? None of your best players or captain are juniors. It’s hilarious how every club except chooks gets to count players that they developed from a young age despite the fact they come from no where near the club.
Caleb Aikens NZ
Dean Blore Penrith
Billy Burns Parkes
Matt Burton Dubbo
Curt Capewell QLD
Nathan Cleary played junior footy in NZ
Stephen Crichton Samoa
Dylan Edwards Albury
James Fisher Harris NZ
Jack Hetherington Canberra
Mitch Kenny Windsor
Viliame Kikau Fiji
Api Korisau BeralA
Spencer leniau NZ
Moses leota NZ
Jarome Lauai St Mary’s
Josh Mansour Kingsgrove
Liam martin Temora
Tyrone May Blacktown
Brent Naden Wellington
James Tamou NZ
Zane Tetevano NZ
Brian Too my druitt
Watene zelezniak St Clair
Dean Whare NZ
Issac Yeo Dubbo

Crichton, leniu and Leota all grew up in my druitt their junior clubs are St Clair, st marys and minchinbury the club didn’t bring them to our area their parents did when they were very young they are 100 percent local juniors straight out of PDJRL.

Fair enough I stand corrected.
There are still far fewer genuine juniors than I would have expected given Penriths natural geographic advantage. And ps I’m not having a dig a Penriths junior development, it’s second to none. I’m just responding to a dig at the chooks. Panthers have plenty to celebrate and be excited about right now without resorting to exaggerated cheap shots. For what it’s worth I’d like to see panthers win if we don’t. They deserve it after the season they’ve had. I actually think the premiers will come from this game.

I was a regular there in the 90's long before the Roosters took it over. It was a good place to grab a granny (so I'm told). Really odd that the Roosters would buy a bowlo at Kingswood.

The population of the Penrith local government area is around 200k, or 4% or so of Sydney, nowhere near enough to produce a sufficient stream of juniors to support a successful NRL team, which is why the catchment has had to spread west. The two clubs are similar in that regard. Roosters seem to do well on the mid-north coast, whereas we have the central west. Both look outside their immediate area for juniors to develop. Both systems were set up by the same man.

True for Penrith itself but panthers also capture most of the Hawkesbury in Windsor and Richmond and all the way to Blacktown. So I’d guess it’s at least double that number. Not to mention the population explosions in places like marsden park and other land releases. I don’t know the numbers but would assume there is massive growth potential. Anyway it is pleasing too see that you guys are making the most of it and building your own destiny without using others success as an excuse not to succeed

If we don't win the GF, get that hat trick of premierships. And hopefully for your sakes, a 4th in a row to beat Parra's record.

You should include the other local governments like Blacktown, Blue Mountains and Hawksbury? The population would bump up considerably.

Roosters did panthers a favour tanking last week so Penrith didn’t have to play us

Panthers fear us and know we’ve got their number I’d much rather play Penrith than Melbourne
