NRL really need to look into the Parra practice of milking crusher penatlies. One of the more blatant rorts they have going on.
A very serious issue, up there with finding out who was mean to seiplod on Twitter.

Put a red line through the Eels to win the competition this year.

A full strength Storm side would’ve put 40+ on them tonight.

Only scoring 2 tries against that Storm side is f**king embarrassing.
It’s up there with conceding over 300 points so far this season.

Dumb comparison.

The Roosters had 4 million dollars of their salary cap on the sideline and the Eels were at full strength.
Well that might explain why they conceded so many but the Storm are a very strong defensive side. The team they fielded tonight was not much weaker defensively than their top 17.

They are the best, actually, in terms of tries conceded, even after tonight.
They're the best anyway. They have too many good players, and all their backups can tackle. It hasn't been a level playing field for years. If they or the Roosters lose because half their team is injured I'm not going to feel sorry for them.

The sharks goal line defence?

Yeah it was that bad we scored 3 tries to 2 against you.

Anyway your the type that will disappear from this forum when the Eels get their arses handed back to you at the end of the year.

Can’t wait.

How many did Penrith put on you last time out? You are only one more flogging away from having worse defense than the team coming last.
And it’s true, I didn’t make a single post between 2009 and 2017 while the Eels sucked.

Parramatta's penalty counts in the last 6 games:

Round 15 v Storm (W) 8-1
Round 14 v Dragons (L) 2-4
Round 13 v Sharks (W) 7-2
Round 12 v Bulldogs (W) 8-3
Round 11 v Tigers (W) 8-2
Round 10 v Manly (L) 5-4

It's pretty funny when the penalty count is remotely close they've lost.

I wonder what the 6 again calls are when they win

Wow...so a side that relies heavily on momentum wins the penalty count in games they are able to achieve momentum and usually wins the game?

You should be an investigative journo. You've discovered that the new ruck rules allow for sides to get on top and create penalties!

Teams need to cheat to stop our go forward and sometimes the ref lets them?

Another funny factoid is that when the score's close we usually win.

And we are back to assuming that all penalty counts should be even?

If it's games here and there, no you don't. But when there is such a discernible pattern - that's when questions should be asked. Particularly when virtually all these games see a 50-50 possession split, it's unlikely that one team is so disciplined but the other isn't.

The problem is that for all your talk about momentum and creating penalties, that it doesn't fit the other stats. When you look at possession, line breaks, completion rates, missed tackles, etc. they are all generally equally split across the board. So it's not momentum creating the penalties.

Funny how more penalties mean you can kick for penalty goal more. It certainly helps in close games.
