Dour game.

Panthers beat Broncos by boring them and everyone else to death.

If we hold the trophy aloft at season’s end I’m happy even if it’s done by boring people

I dont don any smug or confident Panthers fans in here. Everyone tipping a blowout was a Broncos or neutral fan.

Panthers fans are waiting for the humiliating loss our team is good for. Tonight it was a poor effort for a win. But we know there's a stinker in us. Never had a season where we didnt throw away an easy 2 points with a shocking performance.

That said f**king oath im happy our win streakis at q2 games even when playing poorly. 15 teams will not win a premiership this year.odds are we are one of them but for now weve had a f**king insane run to keep fans happy. 12 wins in a row ismore than I expected over the entire season.

It’s an amazing campaign regardless of what happens for the rest of the season. Most of these haters and naysayers didn’t rate us at all at the start of the season and can’t cope with this abnormal reality of Penrith being at the top. It’s just like 2003 all over again in that way, our success was resented back then by a lot of people too. Even if that team was more ‘likeable’ it still annoyed people that a usually nothing team was daring to become winners.

After the first try they couldn't get out of their half. Boring I suppose for neutrals but you do what you have to do to win games.

It was likeable because no-one thought they could win it.

Couldn't give a rats arse about Penrith tbh

Sounds like you give rats arse to me mate... either you’re bored or subconsciously invested in thinking about us

But the overriding thing is..you really do. After that loss 4 weeks ago, that loss has hit and dented your club so hard, your Sticky has to come up with a whole new approach. And that is simply making everyone know that Can/bra are still somewhat relevant. Sounds novel, but it will only take you so far.

Lets face it, after Saturday night, it'll be back to blaming the refs, and the travelling...again.

Press conference now: Liam Martin: “The Broncos really turned up, we were lucky to win!”

I actually agree with him.
Don't know about lucky to win. Broncos did play quite well, especially in defence, but were dominated territorially all evening. Their first try came from our errors and the second from terrible defence, which remains a problem at times.

If we play like that against the slime next week, we’ll be lucky to minimise our “for and against”. Let alone, actually win.

Were you born in 2003?

Like I've mentioned earlier, they are still are bleeding from the backside after our last win...oh, and the time we screwed them up in them winning their third premiership in a row in 1991.
