Get a good night’s sleep Raiders fans, maybe take the 7:30 game off. Big afternoon of whining about the refs again tomorrow

Having used the rewind feature 7 times in KAYO I say it was forward. Pass occurred before the ground marking number 20 and was caught on the actual 20 line.

That says nothing if the ball has been passed forward or not. The ball often travels forward with the momentum of the play after being passed backwards.

For example in the raiders last try last week George Williams passes the ball at about the 41m mark and Curtis Scott catches it at the 44m mark or so. However because Williams maintains his relative position to Curtis Scott (ie in front of him) it looks like it has gone backwards and it did out of Williams hands.

If Williams had been tackled as he passed the ball it would have broke the illusion because scott would be catching the ball in front of where Williams passed

I feel for the refs on this one.. I'd bet that 90% of people seeing that in fast motion would declare it was forward.

What's the solution to what has eternally be an issue?

Forward passes are difficult to rule on. Do we introduce video decisions on forward passes in try scoring situations (perhaps player challenges on it)?

Pretty clear it was backward based on review.

Has to be tech, even though that'd inevitably create more whinging from plenty of fans. The rules say one thing but it seems the refs as humans cannot judge it correctly with their eyes in real time.

You see balls like that ruled forward all the time in try scoring moves mostly because they've thrown it flat. If it was a spiral it probably wouldn't be an issue because it wouldn't float as much

Then you're dumber than I thought.

Go learn physics again.

What’s physics got to do with simple geometry...

Ball released 21m out, ball caught on 20m line.

In what universe do you live in where that ball doesn’t go forward...

Doesn’t matter if it’s “backwards out of the hands” or not....

Does anyone else reckons that Mahoney looks like the kind of bloke that will get cockeyed drunk at a pub, try to fight the smallest bloke he can find, pee on himself and pass out in the car park behind the bins with vomit on his shirt by 10pm?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Just me?

Bingo.

Is Cade Cust in the training squad?

Put him on the Bench to relieve Croker.
Until that signed dud(Levi) it was between Cust & Croker...

Unfortunately Courts more than likely wont return till late in the year, so no Fainu

Did the touchie get it wrong? Probably. Did the ref make some shit calls? Yes, look at his referrals to the bunker, he is a dope.
Is there a conspiracy running so deep that even touchies have been paid off? Yes, and 5G choked that poor bloke in Merica.
