f**k I hate losing like that to that mob. Not a single likeable player on that Knights team. Full credit to the thugs, they were the better team, but on the other hand f**k them and f**k the NRL.
MONUMENTAL MELTDOWN BROTHER!!

Newcastle are the good guys and underdogs. A team full of young blokes and castaways from a luckless club enjoying the fruits of their hard work and discipline. Reminds me of another club not so long ago...and you can't like one single player?

Oh f**k off. Klemmer hit Williams late and high, it is entirely appropriate that our forwards stood up for the little guy.
He was only playing with him. Kinda like he did to your whole pack all game. Seriously though, your meltdowns are the best I've ever seen. Never change brother.

A win for the good guys!

People think that was a meltdown? Just wait until we lose a game thanks to an incorrect refereeing decision, THAT will be a meltdown. This is just an average loss.

58 tackles in 60min by horsburgh is pretty impressive

I think all the middle forwards did some good stuff here and there. Papalli scored a nice try, Horsburgh tackled well, Lui didn't drop the ball but they got f**king owned by the knights forwards and there is no beej to help them out anymore.

The middle forwarfs need to have a good look at how they played. Very soft imo

In all honesty I just don’t think Williams is up to nrl standard. I’ve watched him over the years and he’s going to be another turnstiles croker I’m afraid. Handy little runner of the footy though

The Raiders were better than that final scoreline shows. In the first half they just dropped too much ball and couldn't find the momentum to lay down consistent sets of 6 that could've troubled the Knights. On another day with better ball control, Raiders wouldn't have spent the second half playing catch-up. They're a quality side who had an off-day.

Knights showed they're a genuine contender if they don't lose key players or have the same internal implosion as the second half of last season. They have a good combination of experienced players like Pearce and Klemmer coupled with promising young players like Ponga and Best. A controlled performance all game from the Knights and apart from that 10 minute period between the 50th and 60th minute they looked comfortable against a top team. You can see how well-drilled they are compared to more recent seasons.
