Very true , it’s just catch and pass from him , ran the ball twice but got smashed both times ..... I don’t understand the wraps apart from a chin for ages
Catch and pass in slow motion. He's always motioning with the ball like he's trying to fool the opposition but it's so telegraphed.
Frustrating as a panthers fan. He's good, not shit and not great. Just not a threat which great halves need to be.

The first 60 minutes had me daring to entertain the thought we might be decent this season but the last 20 minutes reminded me that our attack is still really ordinary and as soon as the pressure ramps up against a quality side we let 3 quick tries in.

That's why Eels will be top 4 and we'll be rather lucky if we make the 8
Nah...we'll be there-abouts at season's end with an outside chance of making the GF.

I can't see how we finish above any of Roosters, Raiders, Storm, Eels or Manly.

6th would be a good season for us. We don't have enough attacking quality in halves or backline generally.

I think your boys look good and will only become more dangerous as they condition to the year, only seemed a little less fit than Parra tonight, plus, could have even drawn level at the end there.

Spot on mate , like don’t get me wrong you need to be a pretty damn good footballer to play first grade but he just seems so structured and dunno boring ?

Great winning try from 'Cuthbertson' there - thanks Sam but Adam is now at Leeds.

Vossy tells us the Eels have won the comp on the only 2 previous times they won the opening 5 in '83 and '86 - but Jess confuses us by saying they have won their first five for first time since...1989. Oops.

But we've seen a fabulous & wildly contrasting couple of games that have emphasised just how good rugby league has now become.
