The first 60 minutes had me daring to entertain the thought we might be decent this season but the last 20 minutes reminded me that our attack is still really ordinary and as soon as the pressure ramps up against a quality side we let 3 quick tries in.

That's why Eels will be top 4 and we'll be rather lucky if we make the 8

You guys have the squad to put the points on but honestly, Cleary kills all the momentum. He's way too vanilla and always has been. New rules don't suit him either. I liked the look of Penriths halves prior to this match.

Nathan Cleary is like a 32 year old Halfback who has lost most of his speed and flair but still does an ok job.

Only problem is he's 22 and hasn't even started losing any of those things yet.

Rubbish, you are a top 4 side. It was cracking game of footy and with a bit of luck you win that game easily.

I can't see how we finish above any of Roosters, Raiders, Storm, Eels or Manly.

6th would be a good season for us. We don't have enough attacking quality in halves or backline generally. We can't realistically be a contender with Cleary playing the way he does, along side another young half and not very threatening centres either. I wish we still had Blake..
