Didn’t really see too much from either side that worries me tonight. We got their number quite easily I reckon.

I rate that Burton kid, surely he attracts a bit of interest from other clubs seeing as hes Clearys 3rd choice.

Very true , it’s just catch and pass from him , ran the ball twice but got smashed both times ..... I don’t understand the wraps apart from a chin for ages
Mostly media hype. The average fan doesn't rate him that highly. Even some Penrith fans can see his many flaws.

The thing is with Nathan, a couple of those flaws are physical and can't really be fixed. He's slow... that's not going to change. Sure he can tackle... but he's a Halfback, he's there to create. The game is too fast for him now imo.

The first 60 minutes had me daring to entertain the thought we might be decent this season but the last 20 minutes reminded me that our attack is still really ordinary and as soon as the pressure ramps up against a quality side we let 3 quick tries in.

That's why Eels will be top 4 and we'll be rather lucky if we make the 8

Nonsense. The Panthers will be up there and that game was worthy of a Grand Final.

Not much of a take, to be fair.

We haven't beaten you since 1832. Parra could play Canberra once in a season, in Rd 26, and be 25-0, and lose by thirty

Great winning try from 'Cuthbertson' there - thanks Sam but Adam is now at Leeds.

Vossy tells us the Eels have won the comp on the only 2 previous times they won the opening 5 in '83 and '86 - but Jess confuses us by saying they have won their first five for first time since...1989. Oops.

But we've seen a fabulous & wildly contrasting couple of games that have emphasised just how good rugby league has now become.
It’s been a long time it’s hard reading hieroglyphics from pyramid walls..

Look our Skeepe V'Landy's and Sutton are coming after your mob.

Fair point.

If V’Landys doesn’t let us have home games at Canberra Stadium from round 7, when the ACT gov will allow crowds again, we know the fix is in.

I also reckon Ben Cummin's is part of Project Apollo.

So much adversity.

I thought Burton should have started over the luai. He seems a bit more natural, luai looks like he is over playing. A bit like cleary actually, just slightly quicker but equally ineffective.
