Those thinking this is a Wests Tigers blunder are mistaken. Reality is Addo-Carr was told he’s worth 800K by new manager and asked for a release. Tigers offer of 600k is bang on. He is staying at Storm because they have given him extra 100K and backs himself to get top $$ in 2022

He signed a heads of agreement. Was actually a smart play from the club. If they were going to get screwed over it wasn’t going to be to another Sydney club. They are buying a lot of good young players that will pay off in 18 months. Doesn’t help now, I know.

Depends on who has most money to spend in 2022 cap. Don’t begrudge him for chasing the dollars. He’s worth more than what he has been on the past few years. Best winger in the game by a mile. Tigers disappointed because they are only club to offer him chance to be close to family

Tigers drop off Foxx hunt after Storm deny Addo-Carr release: https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/11/12/tigers-drop-off-foxx-hunt-after-storm-reject-addo-carr-release/

Certainly a bit disappointing that Addo-Carr is staying at the Storm for 2021. I was really hoping we could get him for next year so that's a real shame that that won't be happening. Still, I get the vibe that something could be in the works for 2022 so we'll have to wait and see.

One and done - Origin set to return to mid-year after Biff and Blues’ win fail to lift ratings: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/st...s/news-story/282eb7a57a50cf8ce2b3d0b290948aae
Means it’s even more important now that we do not let Allan go, it’d be stupidity if we did.

We have a lot of centres in our squad but for mine we are short on a winger especially if one or two injuries hit.

1. Latrell
2. AJ
3. Campbell
4. Gagai
5. Paulo

Allan
Burns
Marsters
Moga???
Cartwright
Milne

Who knows though Wayne might start next season with Burns at centre and Gags on the wing.

I feel we are a winger short at this stage tbh if injuries hit.....

Wayne very well may start with Burns at centre in 2021 and move Gags back to the wing, who knows........
Burns came to us from penrith as a winger,id put him back there

Sorry your wrong i watched him play at the panthers

So did i. A lot. He played at centre and looked very promising playing NYC. Was really pleased when he signed for Souths.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have signed four of the brightest up-and-coming players in the game, signing centre Robert Jennings, second rower or centre Tyrell Fuimaono, centre Braidon Burns and halfback Connor Tracey for the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

In what universe is Corey Allan a first grade winger. He won't tackle, he refuses to.
My grandma is faster over twenty metres. (and she tackles better)

Get rid of him.

Well i cant complain about the proof, good on you boys, but i did watch games he played wing though. Must of played a couple of positions,my problem with burns is since that hamstring his speed has deteriorated, a couple of games this season he was in the clear and got run down

Yeah but he's better than Burns LOL :joy:
Also, Allan should last for more than a month before breaking down for the season and lining up for another cheque from NIB insurance :joy:

Getting back to JAC.....

As I said to you fellas, Storm were interested in a swap deal with the Bulldogs for Reimis-Smith.

JAC didnt want to go there. Now JAC wants to stay at Melbourne. I was right, because the Bulldogs just let go Reimis-Smith to the Storm for free.

The guys on the West Tigers forum are starting to realise that JAC won't be coming there either and are saying Souths is the destination.

If we dont f### this up Josh is ours in 2022 but Wayne has got to want him first. And he's stupid not to.

I agree with all you say re Wayne has got to want him etc.

I would suggest that its not all over, that the situation re JAC is still a long way from being settled. Lets not be hasty, sofflee sofflee catchee monkee.

He is one player worth the wait.

I’ll have Addo mate on 600k but not on the 800k his manager wants for him.

Jac:

Storm wanted nofo and then jac wanted $800k

We couldn’t bend that far over without chronic indefinite injury.

Jimmys a talent. He might get on in our world better. Who knows, hope so.

He did a great job belting into Brisbane during the benny jig match.

Back whence the donks used to play rugby league.

Allen goes ok I think, just above stock. Beautiful positioning in attack in those finals. Got by.
