I've now had a good look of the forwards that are at Souths now. We might have enough power.

As I think I said earlier about the best we can hope for is Arrow does sign and then we compensate the with the Titans and give them a back in return. @southsport so the Titans are playing hard ball on what you’re hearing?

Anyhow if can end up with Arrow, Sorensen and Mago coming in it isn’t as bad as what it could’ve been (geez I hope this eventuates for 2020 @callmack1 @southsport @Souths Till I Die

All of a sudden guys that’s not looking too bad, really we are just missing a very good second rower.

So really we’d have Arrow for Sam which is the best we could hope for, Sorensen in Turner’ role and Sironen in Britt’ role, so it’d just be George and Sutto we don’t have replacements for.

Talk was we had 250k spare in our cap with 28 players signed, so add Sam’ 1.2 a year on that’s nearly 1.5mil spare, so if Arrow takes up 700k of that, Sorensen wouldn’t take up more than 200k at most and Mago minimum wage we’d still have 400-500k spare I reckon putting us imo in better stead from 2021 onwards.

I think Arrow is a def great get. Should chase him hard.
If Shannon Boyd is avail, and at the right price I think that’s a solid pick up.

Frizell is said to have re-signed, some people have doubts about Boyd, we missed Matterson and Tetavano while we were waiting on Sam's cap to be cleared, not sure about Luke Thompson's status.

We knew earlier on in the season that we wouldn’t be able to afford to keep George and that Sutto would most likely retire, I believe we did place an offer to Britt but he got more dollars at Canterbury.

Really just unfortunate timing I guess re how the player market is too and Sam having to finish.

It seems we will have to go backwards next season to move forwards from 2021 onwards so to speak. I think you mean Mago as well not Moga.

Hard to argue with MG we have not just lost talent, we’ve lost experience and leadership and players that inspire our forward pack and lead that pack in Sam and Sutto we just can’t replace that no matter who we buy.

Hard not to argue with MG in this case but I don't think he is often on the money with much of what he says.

I'm really liking the club's stace on Cody at the moment. I have always maintained that I'd prefer him to stay and fpor that to be at the right price. I believe the money that has been offered is the correct price for Cody and we should stand by that. Obviously, the club thinks that way too and will not be dictated to by player managers. It's great! Let's hope Cody re-signs though.

Richo is also right about Sam's situation, he hit the nail bang on the head there!

In regards to Sorenson, it seems it's legit if he's been spotted at training. I'm assuming it'd be a train and trial contract for now similar to Mago? Can't complain with that. Sorenson doesn't look bad at all and could be a good addition however, that fact that he is now 27 and hasn't really kicked on in first grade is a bit concerning.

On another note, who kanows what's going on with Arrow? It seems we've only just made him an official offer so it may take him a few days to properly decide.

Fifita also looks set to re-sign with the Broncos. That's a shame but oh well........ South Sydney marches on!

I hope we grab both, I reckon we need Arrow first as we really need a very good forward, then if we can let’s grab Latrell, could be worth the risk, the kid can play and his old man would be on his case you’d reckon being a diehard Souths member.
