Yep adding muscle is the way to improve speed and explosiveness(The Olympic lifts and explosive repititve movements with weights we see in the training vids are specific exercises they ae doing to be more explosive). If you don't do it the right way of course it can hamper speed and mobility but these guys have a team of people making sure they are doing it right.

Yeah it'd be more a concern if he was on a strict bodybuilding routine just trying to get swole.

The big ass thing is why a guy like Spencer Leniu was breaking the line then sprinting 40m to score in cup last season. Low centre of gravity and very powerful through the hips, Api said he is very quick over 30m , its no surprise looking at him, short strides driven by a huuuge ass equals a quick and powerful sprint.

One of the good things (the're not many) about being a 'mature' (little old lady) is that this type of behaviour is 'overlooked'

The idea that all 7s are small is just wrong IMO. Id argue most are closer to Nathans size then Alfie langers size.

Blake green is heavier than Nath. Adam Reynolds is quite heavy for his height, he’s small but stocky, he’d be less nimble than Nathan probably.
