Wouldn’t mind Burto getting a run there but tbh Aekins has never done anything wrong. He broke the league record for metres run by a player on debut a couple seasons ago then his games last year were solid, he wasn’t a stand out but for a rookie coming into a team going like shit he was really solid.

Crichton replaced Aekin when he did his ankle. I think he gets the start

I pointed this out last year Ivan doesn’t take risks

well no. Aekins was signed as a centre and was playing centre with Laurie at fullback when he got injured last year.

So far from the next cab he is though the same style player as Edwards and the safer option

Well the shaky backline depth is already getting tested.
At least this has happened before the trials, may the best man win. Aekins is solid, Laurie exciting but small and Burton maybe has the X factor but would be out of position.
