Easts only got close to us because we played our worse game of the year to be honest.

95% completion rate but a number of unnecessary penalties and six agains that invariably proved costly. With a run of possession they were quite a handful.

He'll be dining out on that win for at the least the next 10 years.

I'd have thought it relevant to discuss the last run of one of the horses in this race.

Froggy supports two teams.

The Panthers, and whoever plays the Roosters each week.

Exactly which of the two he is most passionate about I'm not sure.

Raiders won't lose this, not after Bateman watched the replay of the grand final to relive the pain. He's not gonna let that happen again is Johnny. Three times he's forced himself to watch it, one, two, THREE!

I’ll take the $2.65 on offer, the chooks have lost to all the top 4 teams barring parra, and are a shadow of the past two years.

this is a ridiculous price on offer.
I’m with you . Chooks look cooked. Old fellas are felling the pace of the game . Raiders by 14 for me .

Friend will bolster the chooks, balanced out by the mandatory inclusion of SBW

If last year's grand final was replayed under current rules there would be no way the Roosters could have held the Raiders out with that much possession. It would have played out more like last week's Roosters vs Panthers final with scoreboard ticking over based on possession.

That is how I see this game playing out. Both teams capable of belting each other on the scoreboard. It will just come down to possession.

I'm still curious as to why they even bothered with him besides some sort of marketing tool.

Flanagan doesn't threaten the line at all. That means players like Manu are getting belted as soon as they receive the ball. SBW can attract defenders and pass the ball on. I'd much rather have Cronk or Radley fulfilling that role but here we are.

Yeah they will have that on their mind. Roosters will be seething about their loss last week. This will be a good game.

Lots of ice packs in the Coqs sheds after the Panties softened them up last week.

Is Friend really a bonus back? Between his d/h forward passes and brain farts, he’s got at least 2 errors a game in him.

I’d like to see the Coqs go out in straight sets and I think the Raiderps can do it.

I’ll be taking Canberra +5 / Tedesco try.
